Greetings to the Women
of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church
Since many of us are still ‘sheltering in place,’ and all the UMW Mission U education opportunities have been suspended for 2020, the WCUMC UMW is proposing a ‘Zoom” study seminar. The topic would be “Finding Peace in an Anxious World.” The content is described below and books (paper or Kindle) may be obtained at Amazon in paperback for $8.00. Or, you may want to work out how to ‘borrow’ the book from your friends.
The idea is to set up a schedule of Zoom gatherings which allow enough time between gatherings to read the material. We would then have a time for discussion and exchange of ideas.
Right now we are looking tentatively to start this in July and would like an idea of how many of you would like to participate. This would be a great way to stay in contact and keep our brains in gear.
