We are delighted to have Micheal Pope join us for the
Annual United Women in Faith Christmas Brunch.

Micheal is a dynamic, engaging speaker who has just been awarded 2023 TALHero Changemakers US award from Touch A Life Foundation. TAL is a non-profit located in Santa Clara, CA. and founded on the principle that helping others is good for society, connecting those in need with those willing to give.  Their mission statement declares: We believe true happiness comes from helping and lifting people up. We empower individuals, for-profit and nonprofit corporates to make a positive impact for a kinder world.

The TALHeroTM Awards is an annual event that celebrates the amazing individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference in their communities.  Micheal has a history of helping others. She was announced as the Executive Director in 2008 of the Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay (ASEB). The TAL awards team said of Pope, "As CEO of Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay, Pope has dedicated herself to aiding individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease. Her program development and operations leadership have significantly improved the well-being and quality of life for those with Alzheimer's. Additionally, her role as the Lay Leader for Concord United Methodist Church underlines his commitment to supporting seniors, especially those with dementia."

With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from New Hampshire College and course work in City Planning and Urban Affairs at Boston University, Micheal has more than 20 years of experience in health care management, with an emphasis on marketing.

In addition to her work at ASEB, we know Micheal as the California/Nevada UMC Conference Lay Leader.  She is also Lay Leader at the Concord United Methodist Church and also provides counseling and support to youth in foster care programs.

This is a tremendous opportunity to be in fellowship, enjoy a lovely brunch, and be energized and renewed by a tremendous speaker - Micheal Pope!

This Event Has Concluded - See you in 2024!
