Prayer Shawl Ministry

Please Note:

This Ministry is meeting on the second Sunday of each month at 12 noon. Please contact Denise Pullen for additional information at 925-330-0807.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry consists of a small group of people who knit and crochet to make prayer shawls for others.  We lovingly create them for those who are going through difficult times or celebrating a joy.  It is our way of sharing God’s love.

Besides prayer shawls, we also make baby blankets, scarves, and other smaller items. Right now we are focusing on making scarves for the SHARE basket.  As we knit and crochet we help each other, share stories, and laugh and pray together. We welcome new members and will help you get started!  We Teach!

WCUMC Prayer Shawl/Crafting Ministry group. Blessing scarves for the homeless.
